The Challenge

Estate administration is a long, emotionally demanding process with many legal, financial, and documentary responsibilities. Independent executors often have no dedicated system to guide them, which makes it easy to lose track of urgent actions, supporting paperwork, payments, and progress. The product needed to make a complex process feel calm and approachable while protecting sensitive estate information and supporting secure collaboration between two people.

Our Solution

We designed and developed a polished Flutter app centred on a stage-by-stage executor journey, helping users understand what needs attention now and what comes next. The app combines guided tasks, a secure document vault, an estate financial ledger, reminders, progress tracking, and PDF exports in one cohesive experience. Supabase powers authentication, secure storage, real-time data, and row-level security, while Riverpod manages app state and RevenueCat supports the iOS subscription flow. We also built secure co-executor invitations, offline-aware syncing, and an iOS home-screen widget so users can see their next priorities at a glance.

Results

Legacy Step launched as a complete, App Store-ready estate administration tool that gives executors a clear, organised way to manage a process that is usually fragmented and overwhelming. The finished product brings tasks, documents, finances, collaboration, and reporting into one private workspace, creating a dependable foundation for users to manage an estate with greater confidence and clarity.
